a) Base: 20 Gb on a 2 x10 Gb Internet Port b) Solution to scale from 20 Gb to 100 Gb within the contract term. c) The response should include 3-year service terms with two 1-year options. d) The contract should provide two (2) optional one (1) year extension(s). e) The contracted service will be for a 2 x 10 Gb Internet ports with a beginning Committed Data Rate for Internet Bandwidth of 20 Gb. f) The solution should provide service delivered at 500 W. Overland, El Paso TX, . g) The beginning Internet bandwidth will be 20 Gb scalable to 100 Gb in 40 Gb increments or in the most costeffective solution to scale. Other service increase increments can be proposed. h) Provide a 7/24 Enterprise technical support desk and service. i) Provide a Service Level Agreement on the proposed service. j) Provide a Customer Portal that allows secure access to view and manage the service with 24-hour day, seven days a-week access. k) Provide a solution that can monitor and report usage online, in electronic format, for billing and program assessment. l) The Service Provider will provide Secondary Domain Name Services if requested. m) NOTE: The District reserves the right to use the Internet service for any District Internet traffic at the discretion of the District. n) The provider should be a Tier One provider or a high capacity/quality Tier 2 provider. If Tier 2/Blended Internet Service is proposed, the response should include the upstream Internet access providers used with the service. o) The service provider transport network from the port to the provider backbone Internet connection should provide a CIR on the network for the contracted bandwidth, non-oversubscribed and dedicated to YISD. p) The provider may provide a dedicated, rate limited service for the CIR or a burstable service. If providing a burstable service, the provider should provide an SLA for the service and the billing matrix for overage. For a burstable service. YISD required a 30-day notice of overage. Upon notice of overage, YISD will provide a response to leave bandwidth at current contract, increase bandwidth or to rate limit the service. The responding vendor will provide a response to each Internet Access service requirement as to service availability and description of services to meet the District’s requirements.
