1. Medical Services- District is seeking proposals from Respondents who will take ownership and full responsibility (including onsite and backup staffing) for providing care in the emergency department (24x7x365) by qualified and fully credentialed providers. Respondent should furnish a detailed description of the qualifications and specific experience of its organization in trauma centers and large teaching institutions. The Services shall include provision of professional medical care in the specialty of emergency and medical education services (through licensed and qualified professionals referred to as “Providers”) to District patients, and administrative oversight of the Department, to effectively and efficiently operate the Department in a manner that meets the District’s expectations with respect to the Service’s quality, compliance, performance, and patient/provider satisfaction. Respondent shall furnish: (a) professional emergency medical services (“Patient Services”) to all patients at the Hospital and JPS Facilities who require the type of care provided in the Specialty; and (b) department staffing required in connection with the Patient Services (“Coverage Services” and together with the Patient Services, the “Medical Services”)...
