1. Develop written and/or virtual, one hundred (100) multiple choice question entrance exams for the City of Abilene Police or Fire Departments on an as needed basis. Typically, recruitment takes place annually. 2. Provide all necessary materials to conduct a written exam if requested by the City of Abilene. Written exams will be proctored and scored by the City of Abilene using an electronic scoring method. 3. Develop an exam that minimizes disparate outcomes among demographic groups of candidates. 4. Develop an exam that is reliable, defensible, valid, and reasonable. 5. Provide virtual proctoring services to ensure security and integrity during the administration of tests. 6. Proctors must monitor live, either through a human proctor, AI monitoring, or a combination of both to ensure compliance with all exam rules. 7. Manage all technical support for candidates during virtual examinations. 8. Offer a user-friendly, secure online platform for candidates to take exams remotely. 9. Ensure the platform is compatible with various devices (desktop, laptop, tablets) and provide a seamless experience for candidates. 10. Manage scheduling virtual exams for all candidates, including accommodations for individuals with disabilities if needed. Provide an example on how you will accomplish this. 11. Provide flexibility for various time zones and multiple exam sessions. Give an example of how this will be accomplished. 12. Provide a report of virtual exam results to the City of Abilene’s Human Resource Department. Submit an example. 13. Ensure all test data and candidate information are stored securely and comply with data protection laws. 14. Provide all documents pertaining to the City upon request within 30 days.
