The City of Temple, Texas, is seeking proposal(s) for food and beverage management services for the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center (Center), located at 3303 North 3rd Street, Temple, Texas. It is the City’s goal to continually bring a broad range of events to its Center including conventions, trade shows, consumer shows, commercial exhibitions, concerts, private functions, etc. The awarded vendor (Food & Beverage Manager or FBM) will be granted the exclusive rights to sell alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, food, and snacks, excluding novelty sales, during all catered events and concession stands at the Center. The FBM shall have the exclusive right to operate food service areas, bars, fixed and mobile concession stands, banquet areas, meeting room/suites in the Center only, unless otherwise noted. Renters of the Center will be required to use the FBM for all catering and will not have the option of contracting with an outside caterer.
