The Port of Houston Authority of Harris County, Texas (“PHA”) is soliciting written proposals (“Proposals”) from insurance carriers only (each a “Respondent”) qualified to provide 2025 Employee, Retiree, & Dependent Group Insurance Benefits. PHA will accomplish this procurement with the assistance of its designated broker of record, Gallagher Benefit Services. (“Broker”). The Port Commission, as the governing body of the Port of Houston Authority of Harris County, Texas ("PHA") formally approved the appointment of Gallagher Benefit Services (“Broker") to act as the sole and exclusive representatives for the handling, negotiating, and placing of all employee benefit insurances for the PHA. The appointment became effective February 1, 2023, for an initial period of three years, the Port Authority (Minute Numbers 2022-1206-50).
