Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project includes the application of various pavement preservation treatments including crack seal and slurry seal of City Streets. The main objective of this proposal is to design, create, and set up a 20’x 30’ booth at Supercomputing Conference (SC24), November 17-22, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia to showcase research at Texas A&M University utilizing high performance computing. Our goals are to foster collaborations, share experiences, and develop relationships with attendees/partners. We would like the booth to be utilized for multiple years at each event venue for the SC annual meetings. The main design requirements for the booth are: ● The booth will facilitate communication with the audience via meet-and-greet, brainstorming small group meetings, videos, and posters. The TAMU name, logo, and colors must meet TAMU Branding specifications and will be placed prominently on the display/storage structure. ● Primary components or furnishings for the booth: 1) Reception desk: The desk must have lockable doors, a minimum of 2 tiers of shelves, and space to store marketing and consideration items (about 400 T-shirts) to be distributed. The table top should be 24 inches or deeper to accommodate an on-table display and at least 60 inches long. The TAMU-HPRC logo is to be displayed in front with accent lighting, making sure to follow the color requirements in the TAMU branding guide. 2) Storage structure: This structure will be used for storage. The storage structure should be a minimum of 10’ x 10’ and could be a rectangular shape since the area is about 100 sq ft. The storage must have a locking door with the door opening inward. Shelving in the storage area is optional. 3) Display: Structure to display approximately 8-12 research posters along two 65-inch or larger flat-panel televisions. LED lighting for posters is required. The display should allow guests to view posters from 2-3 feet. Signage and display itself should be compelling and appealing to approach. The primary theme for the display must be consistent with TAMU's purpose and values. The university name and primary ATM logo are mandatory. 4) Meeting Space: An area for small group meetings with a conference-style table and seating for 8-10 people. This space must be separate from the main meet-and-greet area, but options for closed conference room and open styles are encouraged. The ability to simply convert the space from private to open and casual meetings would be ideal. (Open concept and secure- private meeting) 5) Hanging sign: A hanging sign with the Texas A&M logo will be suspended at the booth. The size of this hanging sign is about 16 feet in diameter and 4 to 6 feet tall (diameter and height are flexible). The targeted hanging height is about 16 feet from the floor to the bottom of the hanging sign. A rotating motor is not necessary. We own a round frame hanging sign that could be reused. The current sign has branding on the outside. We would like a logo (or branding components) on the inside. 6) Tables and chairs: A minimum of two regular-height tables, with four chairs for each table (optional with electric outlets), and a minimum of two bar chairs or stools for the reception desk (with electric outlet at or nearby optional). Bar chairs or stools should be stable on a padded carpet. 7) Seating for the meeting and meet-and-greet areas will depend on design. 8) Texas A&M University branding colors and logos should be used whenever possible. High Performance Research Computing has its division logo as secondary to the Texas A&M University branding. If design allows, furniture and carpet with TAMU branding colors are preferred. See below for web links for TAMU branding color and logo. 9) Carpet with extra or premium padding.
