Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Houston (“City”) is currently seeking bids from Certified Avidyne and Garmin dealer/s to supply aviation navigation radio systems and avionics repairs, labor work, equipment, and services for the Houston Police Department’s (HPD) Air Support Division. Qualified bidders will be required to supply supporting documentation of their FAA Repair Station certification with Limited Airframe and Limited Instruments ratings. In addition, the bidding vendor/s MUST be located within a 30-mile radius of the 1200 block of Travis Street in Houston, Texas 77002 and must maintain its own hanger facility to secure aircraft during inclement weather and/or during operation closure of their facility.
