Project 1: LPD Communications Unit - Cost For Repairs of the Call Taker Work Area Provide architecture plan for the 911 Communication Center with the approval by City of Laredo Engineering Department and all proper permits. Room 1: Remove Wall 1 (17’) and Wall 2 (12’) to include removal of windows and leaving a 3” fur down. This will expand the call taker stations in order to increase the number of personnel. Room 1: Remove 28 year old warn out acoustic wall carpet from Wall 3 (12’) and Wall 4 (17’). Room 1: Install new high grade acoustic Purple SoundBreak XP Drywall on both Wall 3 (12’) and Wall 4 (17’). New high grade acoustic drywall will prevent echo sounds and improve call reception and call recordings. In addition the new high grade acoustic Purple SoundBreak XP drywall is moisture, mold and mildew resistant. New acoustic Purple SoundBreak XP drywall must be of 5/8” thickness. Room 2: Remove and plug toilet drain and remove any water pipes and plug water source from the wall. This room will be used to install new air handlers that will supply the call takers and the dispatch side of the 911 communications center. The room is 6’10” by 9’8”. Room 3: Remove Wall 5(10’) leaving a 3” fur down. Room 3: Remove 28 year old warn out acoustic wall carpet in Wall 6 (16’), Wall 7 (28’9”), Wall 8 (16’) and all around of the 3’ wall next to wall number 8.
