This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be for the purchase of various catering supplies and related food products from one primary supplier for Food Services Catering, the 9400 NCX building, and eleven (11) Dallas ISD Culinary Arts Programs. This distributor will deliver frozen meats, vegetables, bread, produce, paper, and plastic products that are not commonly used in Food Services cafeterias. These products are to be delivered to the Food and Child Nutrition Services - Maria Luna Food Service Facilities Warehouse at 1515 Al Lipscomb Way, Dallas, Texas 75215. The selected vendor will generally and continually advise and support Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services in the innovation of new products that the District acquires, and with the use of the products the vendor offers to provide. The selected vendor will establish fair and reasonable pricing for any new products and any products that are newly subjected to the Commodity and Commercial Food Contracts; provided, however, that the District may decline to purchase any particular item offered by the vendor on the basis of that item's cost being too high or for any other reason, at the District's sole discretion.
