1. Project Planning and Pre-Design o Assist City staff in refining project scopes, budgets, and schedules. o Provide initial feasibility analysis and cost estimates. 2. Design Phase Management o Act as liaison between City, architects, engineers, and other design professionals. o Monitor the design process, review design deliverables, and track adherence to budgets and timelines. 3. Bidding and Procurement Support o Assist the City in preparing bid/RFP/RFQ documents for architectural, engineering, and construction services. o Help evaluate contractor proposals, participate in interviews, and advise on selection. 4. Construction Phase Oversight o Coordinate with contractors, track construction schedules, manage budget allocations, and enforce quality control. o Attend progress meetings, facilitate issue resolution, and review pay applications and change orders. 5. Close-Out and Post-Construction o Ensure final inspections, punch lists, and close-out documents are completed. o Assist with transitioning to occupancy, including commissioning activities where applicable. 6. Ongoing Reporting o Prepare regular progress reports, including schedule updates, budget status, and risk assessments. o Provide updates to City staff, City Council, and other stakeholders as needed.
