Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide professional development services to TEA College,Career and Military Preparation (CCMP) staff and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Regional Education ServiceCenters (ESC) staff that address two areas of need: 1) the promotion of student participation in occupations considerednontraditional for the student’s gender and 2) the promotion of participation of special populations in CTE programs. Thegoal of the work is to provide TEA CCMP staff and ESC CTE specialists with the necessary knowledge and skills to providetraining to the Texas CTE community to ensure that all students are given equitable access to and gain an understandingof diverse training and employment opportunities.
