Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Tarrant County Sheriff is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Inmate Commissary Services, Inmate Banking Services, Deposit/Release Services, and Optional Value Added Technology for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO). B. The Sheriff currently operates and maintains five (5) Jail facilities housing an average daily population of approximately 4215 inmates. The Jail facilities are located at: 1. Tarrant County Corrections Center 100 N. Lamar Street Fort Worth, TX 76196 2. Lon Evans Corrections Center 600 W. Weatherford Street Fort Worth, TX 76196 3. Green Bay Unit 2500 Urban Drive Fort Worth, TX 76106 4. Cold Springs Jail (This location is currently certified, but not populated. Commissary service would begin there immediately upon repopulation.) 1815 Cold Springs Road Fort Worth, TX 76196 5. Belknap Jail (This location is currently certified and populated on floors 2-6 and 2-7. Floor 2-5 is currently depopulated. Commissary service would begin there immediately upon repopulation.) 350 W. Belknap Street Fort Worth, TX 76196 C. Commissary services for the Sheriff are currently provided by Keefe Commissary Network utilizing a commissary cart operation. Commissary Services are provided five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, by CART SALES in four of the five Tarrant County Jail facilities. When the Cold Springs Jail is populated, low risk inmates purchase items five (5) days per week Monday through Friday plus Saturday mornings from a walk up window. D. Currently Keefe Commissary Network uses fourteen (14) carts. E. Current commission is 41% of sales (less sales tax paid and postal sales); or $1,500,000 per year guaranteed (whichever is greater).
