All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposer shall have the exclusive right to operate a full-service campus bookstore that will provide for sale a variety of merchandise and services such as new, used, and digital textbooks, textbook rentals, academic supplies, emblematic clothing and memorabilia, graduation regalia and related merchandise, and other services expected from a full-service university bookstore.; 5.6.4 Product Mix: A. Responsible for contacting, in a timely manner, all faculty members for their textbook and course material adoptions.; B. Have ready and available for sale (via campus bookstore and online) all textbooks and required course materials for each semester and each summer session.; C. Offer for Sale (via campus bookstore and online) an array of supplies including, but not limited to: 1. Academic supplies (i.e., scantrons, pens, pencils, folders, index cards, etc.); 2. Technology accessories (i.e., batteries, earbuds, USB drives, mouse pads, etc.); 3. University branded apparel (i.e., hoodies, t-shirts, caps, etc.); 4. University branded gifts and accessories (i.e., water bottles, mugs, pennants, keychains, etc.); 5. Convenience Items (i.e., chips, energy bars, candy, gum, etc.).; D. All purchasing decisions for apparel, souvenirs and other retail items shall be made by the Proposer.; E. The sale of alcohol, beer, tobacco, and lottery products are prohibited.; 5.6.5 Online Ordering: A. Offer full-service online ordering capability.; B. Establish and maintain an official, user-friendly Internet website related to the sale and promotion of merchandise. The University shall provide a link to the Proposer’s website on the University’s home page.; C. Keep an updated inventory of all items for sale on the website.; D. Merchandise on Proposer’s website shall be similar to merchandise available in bookstore.; 5.6.6 Graduation Regalia and Related Items: A. Provide for the sale or rental of graduation regalia for students and faculty. Graduation regalia includes items such as, but not limited to, caps, gowns, tassels, and hoods.; B. Provide for the sale of class rings for graduation.; C. Provide for the sale of customized invitations and announcements.; 5.6.7 Bookstore Management and Personnel: A. Provide management staff experienced in managing a collegiate bookstore.; B. Provide for the payment of all salaries and benefits for Bookstore employees. Bookstore employees shall be employees of the bookstore and not the University.; C. Provide all procuring, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax operations required to operate the bookstore.; D. Maintain complete financial records of bookstore and make them accessible for audit by University or its independent auditors upon request.; 5.6.8 Charge Sales: A. Confirm that you will accept multiple payment methods from customers which include University departmental charges and/or scholarship billings, major credit cards, personal checks, and University sponsored debit cards.; B. In the event that technology changes (i.e., e-wallets, chip-based financial applications) become prevalent or requested, the Proposer will work expeditiously with the University to ensure that the consumer needs of the students, faculty and staff are fully met.
