The Dallas County Hospital District requests proposals for one (1) small piece folder for the laundry. The successful vendor will be responsible for supplying equipment and services conforming to the items described in the following specifications: Capable of processing multiple items of varying sizes such as bath towels, patient gowns, underpads, etc. Automatically folds items and stacks pieces in amounts determined by the operator. Microprocessor controls which display all pertinent data on the machine including the ability to display piece count. Equipped with safety equipment (safety interlocks, emergency stop buttons etc.) to prevent injury to any personnel standing near or operating the equipment. Audible jam alarm. Mounted on heavy-duty, locking casters with brakes to move the machine for service purposes. Adjustable height conveyor to adjust proper receiving height for return-to-feed. Electrical: 208/60/3 Installation/final connection included into existing air and electrical service. Three sets of service and parts manuals. Delivery and final utility hook-up to be performed by the successful vendor and included in this proposal price. Installation cost to be noted separately.
