Sam Houston State University (“SHSU” or “the University”) is seeking proposals from qualified hotel management teams, including an operator and a brand (together a “Proposer”), to provide comprehensive management services for an Upscale selectservice, University-owned hotel (the “Hotel”) located at the NE corner of Bobby K Marks Drive and Bearkat Blvd. in Huntsville, Texas. The Proposer must be a: 1. Branded Hotel Operator: a hotel company providing operating expertise to lodging properties it manages, using its international trademark and reservation system as an integral part of the hotel management services it provides; or 2. Third-Party Operator and Third-Party Brand: a hotel company providing operating expertise to lodging properties it manages, leveraging a third-party Brand, and authorized to propose that Brand in its response.
