The City of Laredo Public Works is requesting bid pricing from qualified vendors for awarding annual contracts to provide tinted glass, strobe lights, headache rack & tool box installation services for non-police vehicles as needed basis. 1. Window Tint Requirements (Non-Police Vehicles) These specifications describe the installation of tint to vehicles windows comprising the City of Laredo non emergency automotive fleet. All pricing must include labor and materials needed for a complete installation job. Refer to Attachment A. 1.1 All tint installed must adhere to the State of Texas tint law. 1.2 Front Side Windows: 25% VLT or more light transmission is allowed. 1.3 Back Side Windows: any VLT % is allowed. 1.4 Bidder must provide the City of Laredo valid Public Commercial General Liability, Worker's Compensation and Commercial Auto Liability Insurance in bidder's name, prior to award of contract. This insurance must be kept in full force and effect during full term of contract 1.5 Bidder must provide a set standard labor charge on all tint installation. 1.6 Bid pricing will be based on most current NAGS Calculator. The percentage discount will remain fixed during the contract period. The most current NAGS calculator will be used to determine the unit pricing at time of vehicle repair. 1.7 Bidder must provide a minimum of 1yr. year or 12-month warranty on all tint installations. 1.8 The City of Laredo reserves the right to cancel contract upon thirty (30) days written notice if bidder fails to conform to the terms and conditions stated. 2.0 Strobe Light Requirements (Non-Police Vehicles) 2.1 LED surface mount light-Amber. 2.2 LED surface mounted Light -White. 3.0 Tool Box Requirements for Trucks Only (Non-Police Vehicles) 3.1 Aluminum 69-inch Tool Box City of Laredo Non-Police Pickups (Ford series F150, F250, F350.
