1. Contractor will provide all equipment, labor, materials, and any needed rental equipment to remove, replace, and dispose of the existing units. The existing units are listed below: (see extent of new work below; everything demolished will be replaced under this contract) • Please specify units; the units to be replaced will be shown during the official site prebid walk. 2. Contractor will provide and install: • Remove 3 existing RTUs, not original to the building nor what is on the spec sheet. • Remove 3 existing curbs that were adapted from the original to fit the unit that is there now. • Install 3 new RTUs with saltwater rating, VFD (Variable Frequency Drives, and correct. size curbs – prefer foam roof curb tape to create an air-tight seal. • Verify exhaust fans during walk-through and replace as needed. • Program the BAS system • Whips – seal tight flex with metal • Hardware • Condensate piping – 1” hard copper lines with UV protection insulation with proper roof supports • Insulation 3. Any other miscellaneous materials needed for a fully functional system – see Section 23 81 26. The power for this project is 208/230 three phase. • The Contractor will replace the existing disconnects and whips to each unit. - seal tight flex with metal • The Contractor is to verify all conduit will be of sufficient size to comply with National Electric Code (NEC) standard for the size wire needed to comply with the Minimum Circuit Ampacity (MCA) of the new units.
