Implementation of City of Laredo Health Authority, City of Laredo Human Resources, Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and regulations. B. Emergency Procurement Process 1. Supply chain issues/challenges including selection of vendors, fraud, and resources. 2. Coordinated efforts for regional and state procurement and State of Texas Assistance Requests (STAR) requests. 3. Acquisition and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). C. Cooperative Operations with External Agencies 1. Mass Vaccination Point of Dispensing (POD). 2. Community testing events. 3. Support given to Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities (Ex. Assisted-living Facilities and Nursing Homes) including Respiratory Protection Programs, PPE, and infection control.
