Specifications include, but are not limited to: The M61 Steam Boiler project includes installation of a new boiler for additional campus district steam production capacity. The work includes construction of two platforms to in-fill sections of level 2 at the M61 Services building. These platforms will allow for the boilers to be installed above the campus standard flood elevation. Alternate A includes a second boiler and an extension of the base bid boiler platform. The M61 Services Building is an active campus support facility that includes bulk sterilization, trash handling, incinerator, district fuel, and other supporting services that must remain active during construction. The contractor must coordinate all work with the ongoing facility operations. The Owner will be providing Commissioning, TAB, Materials Testing, and TDI services as part of the project. The contractor is required to coordinate with the owner’s representative and their consultants for all required testing and inspections.
