1. The effective management of direct medical costs such as specialist referrals, ER rooms visit, avoidable hospitalizations, and high-cost brand scripts. 2. Improving population health by removing obstacle to care, preventing and managing chronic conditions. The opportunity to boost productivity, and reduce absenteeism, while minimizing disability claims has added potential. The Clinic and the health plan agenda will be aligned. 3. Provide Goose Creek CISD with another asset to attract and retain a competitive workforce and enhancing what we already know to be true; that Pasadena ISD is the workplace of choice for education professionals. 4. The District will outsource Clinic operations to Vendors that provide comprehensive staffing and management services. The District is willing to consider all options presented for this Clinic. 5. The District envisions removing all obstacles to care for this Clinic via plan design development and integrated wellness platforms by waiving all costs to the Plan Members. 6. The District has established a healthcare and wellness committee to communicate these initiatives to all employees and has existing “Wellness champions” on all Campuses.
