Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project includes designs for the second contract of the Southwest End Around Taxiway (SWEAT) project, Package 1B, as well as a new Airfield Support Facilities (ASF) development on the southeast corner of the project site. The purpose of the SW-EAT project is to provide additional operational safety for the west side of the airfield at DFW International Airport. The scope for this project includes the second segment of the project (Package 1B) and generally includes the following: Construction of taxiways to Aircraft Design Group VI/Taxiway Design Group 6 standards where possible. o Construction of the remaining portion of Taxiway G to complete the eastern half of the EAT system o Construction of an approximately 1,300 linear feet extension of Taxiway C (from Taxiway WR to the new Inner ARFF road) o Construction of an approximately 4,700 linear feet extension of Taxiway E (from Taxiway A to new EAT) o Construction of new Taxiway WQ from Taxiway E to Runway 36R o Construction of new Taxiway WQ stub from Taxiway E to the approximate Runway 36L Runway Safety Area limits o Reconstruction of Taxiway WR to the proper horizontal and vertical geometry from Runway 36R to the limits reconstructed in the Runway 18R-36L construction project Extension of the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Road network around the EAT o Inner ARFF (IARFF) Road to be designed as a complete loop o Outer ARFF (OARFF) Road to extend to the same longitudinal limits of Taxiway C and Taxiway G
