Summary of Specifications:
The South San Antonio Independent School District (“District”) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for the selection of a firm (“Firm”), to provide Building Envelope Services for planning, design renovation and construction of projects for South San Antonio ISD projects on an hourly fee basis as needed by the District. Such services are expected to be required but are not limited to existing building envelope forensics, pre-project planning, estimating, design, bid and construction phases of the project delivery process or any other service that is beneficial in the delivery of facilities to be free of moisture intrusion issues. The Firm will render these services to the Component as needed, with no minimum or maximum amount of services specified. In particular, the Firm must be prepared to assign at least one person with significant building envelope experience to be available as the point of contact for all oversight efforts of South San Antonio ISD. A contract with the selected firm will be issued as an indefinite quantity contract with a one-year initial term and an option for the District to extend the contract for and additional three (3) years in one year increments. The total value of the Contract will not exceed $200,000 per contract year.
