The Virgin Islands Port Authority ("The Authority" or "VIPA") is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to obtain server equipment necessary to upgrade VIPA's data infrastructure capabilities. To support this upgrade and ensure seamless operations, VIPA is seeking server hardware that can be installed as a 2-node failover cluster and supports a Microsoft storage space direct configuration. The proposed hardware solution must be fully built to ensure compatibility with a Windows enterprise environment, include all necessary accessories, components and parts as outlined in the bid scope, to include rack mounted kits for easy installation in a standard server rack, and possess adequate processing power to handle the workload and tasks essential for maintaining VIPA's daily operations.
