The scope of service for this project should include the following components: • The successful respondent shall provide the department with one thousand (1,000) portable/wearable panic buttons per school district, that are: o Trackable throughout the school campus with accurate location information of an activated badge o Does not rely on cellular networks to transmit alerts o Allows employees to activate alert notification systems remotely, without the use of cellular networks • Visual notification beacons or strobes: o Provide accurate, visual location for activated devices via beacons or strobes o Provide campus-wide coverage; indoor, outdoor and perimeter areas • The successful respondent shall provide the Department with twenty-five (25) Administrator Consoles, thirteen (13) for the St. Thomas/St. John District and twelve (12) for the St. Croix District which provides: o Daily status and health check of the portable panic buttons and software updates, if necessary o Detailed reporting on the health of the system, devices needing maintenance, and the ability to centrally update firmware and hardware o Training and overview of how the system functions and its major components o Details and specifications on all hardware components including type of network, dependencies on existing infrastructure, battery life of alert devices, power requirements and location of hardware devices o Details and specifications on all software components including software management, updates, user management, reporting, system dashboard, and ongoing maintenance tasks. o How accurate location information is achieved o Detailed information on how medical personnel or law enforcement can be notified by the system
