In the ever-evolving landscape of sustainable transportation, the SWITCH Lab EV Kit emerges as a beacon of innovation, empowering educators and students to delve into the realm of electric vehicles (EVs). This project endeavors to harness the capabilities of the SWITCH Lab EV Kit, integrating diverse engineering disciplines to foster innovation and sustainability in the DIY electric mobility sphere.

This piece of equipment would be used in multiple courses across the Engineering & Technology cluster. In addition, our CCA students visit the high school each spring and would be able to observe high school students working on the vehicle as a means to pique their interest in this particular pathway.

Through the collaborative efforts of educators, students, and professional engineers, this project aims to unlock the potential of future transportation with the SWITCH Lab EV Kit. By providing an accessible platform for exploration and innovation, we strive to inspire individuals to redesign the way they might travel, one DIY electric vehicle at a time.
