Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide life skills/counseling services to students four days a week by performing duties of evaluation, and treatment. Hours not to exceed 32 hours per week unless permission is obtained from school administration. 2. Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and will complete the appropriate paperwork as required by the Utah State Office of Education and federal law (IDEA). 3. Maintain records as required by fiscal intermediaries, federal, state, or local governmental agencies, accreditation agencies, or other parties and will make records available upon request. 4. Provide weekly training and directly supervise aides who provide life skills and behavior management. 5. Provide curriculum and modules for life skills lessons for students. 6. Oversee the training and implementation of life skill lessons by the Behavior Team. 7. Provider will be on campus as least 8 hours a week to provide life skills/counseling services to students. 8. Provide psychological, academic, and emotional evaluations as required for qualification of special education services with scoring, written summaries, and attendance at IEP meetings to explain results. 9. Available to administration for consultation on behavior and emotional needs of special education students. 10. Available to behavior aides to provide support and consultation on behavioral and emotional needs of special education students, and to assist with any need for de-escalation or crisis management of students...
