Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Concessionaire shall provide, operate, and maintain the required concession services as well as any related support facilities and services within the Concession Service Area in accordance with the resulting contract to such an extent and in a manner considered satisfactory by the Division. These services represent the minimum requirements the Concessionaire is required to provide. Except for any such items that may be provided to the Concessionaire by the Division, the Concessionaire shall provide the personnel, equipment, goods, and commodities necessary for providing, operating, and maintaining the required concession services in accordance with the resulting contract. Any services Concessionaire or the Division wishes to include in the contract beyond those listed here must be added to the contract through amendment. COLLECT PARKING FEE Concessionaire shall collect parking fees that will be established at the time their bid is accepted. These fees must be collected from visitors by a concession employee. Businesses that are dropping-off visitors into the parking area may have a different fee structure which will be determined by the concessionaire in their bid. TRACKING SYSTEM Implement a payment tracking system to identify vehicles that have paid to park, noting that a shuttle car (dropping participants back at their car after floating the river) does not need to pay a fee. USE COUNT – The concessionaire shall record the number of vehicles parking in the lot, keeping a tally of vehicles that parking and dropping off passengers, and the number of individuals in these vehicles. PARKING LOT STRIPING Stripe parking stalls to allow for orderly parking. Re-stripe as needed throughout the summer. The intent is to keep the parking lot organized and accessible to emergency vehicles. Striping should be completed consistent with any laws or regulations applicable to ADA and emergency vehicle access. RESTROOM AND GARBAGE SERVICES Concessionaire will provide 3 restrooms, one being ADA compliant and shall have a dumpster on-site with weekly trash service. Concession staff shall be trained in all aspects needed to provide clear and understandable instructions to visitors including general water safety. 6. ADDITIONAL CONCESSION SERVICES Offeror may suggest additional services. Any services that Offeror proposes in addition to the required concession services will be considered by the Division and may be added to the list of required concession services in the resulting contract. The Division reserves the right to decide whether to authorize these additional services.
