Granite School District purchases specific stop loss reinsurance to protect our self-funded medical plan. As responsible stewards of the district’s budget we will be checking the market to ensure that we are receiving the best possible pricing. Granite School District will be utilizing our contracted employee benefit consultant team, GBS Benefits (GBS), to conduct this process. They will act as our authorized agent to release information regarding this opportunity, receive bids, evaluate the bid results, and to provide awarded recommendations. The attached district terms and conditions will be part of the resulting contract. The bid process is subject to all applicable provisions of the Utah Procurement (UCA 63G-6a) and Utah Administrative Rule (R33)
