1. Professional learning for a cohort of up to 110 Elementary Educators, Instructional Coaches, and USBE Early Learning staff 2. Cohort groups as defined and justified by Contractor 3. A complete, detailed training structure and schedule that includes a. Approximately 3-6 trainings during the performance period b. Specification of in-person and/or virtual trainings c. Specification of training durations 4. Metrics for success. The professional learning created through this project should increase educator capacity for effective writing instruction for students. Contractor will provide a basis for measuring the efficacy of its program. 5. Trainings aligned with Utah’s Professional Learning Standards; Utah’s K-6 writing standards; and USBE Strategic Plan. 6. The presentations will be provided to USBE staff for content review prior to each session. 7. Professional learning that incorporates: a. In depth learning of effective writing instruction b. The Science of Reading c. Personalized learning d. Adult learning principles
