The Sheriff’s Office is seeking multiple vendors for towing evidence. Successful bidders meeting all bid specifications will be added to the resulting tow rotation. Charges resulting from towing services will be the responsibility of vehicle owners and/or insurance. The perspective bidders must be available 24/7, 365 days a year; the perspective tow company must be equipped to tow large vehicles and items, sometimes in steep canyon areas or off-road, and in inclement weather. The company shall respond with its own equipment, which is permanently marked with the company name and logo. The company will not use other towing company equipment on a “temporary lease” or substitute backup basis. The door of the tow company name should match the contractor that was called and not with a magnetic placard with the name.
