The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a qualified Contractor to administer service to home separately and private school students currently participating in the Statewide Online Education Program pursuant to Utah Title 53F-4 Part 5. The portion of the Statewide Online Education Program service described here will be termed the “Utah Home and Private Online Education Program” (“Program”) concerning eligible Utah students. No later than April 1, 2025, the Board will contract with a private entity alternatively: (a) that has demonstrated an expertise or ability to administer a statewide program to deliver education services to students who attend private school or home school, and (b) to separately administer the portion of the Statewide Online Education Program that is currently designated for students who participate in private school or home school, including providing an enrollment platform or tool separate from the enrollment tool or platform the state board provides for the program.
