Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will remove the old concrete structures that exist on the river where the river exists the canyon. The project will then install the new concrete diversion structure that will divert river flows into 10 separate pipes that will convey metered water to the three irrigation districts. Extra water will be sent over Coanda screens that will then make its way down the existing American Fork River. The project has an optional alignment that American Fork River flows may be dammed and piped around the project for the duration of the project. Potential staging areas are also shown on the plans. This is an NRCS partially funded project with Pleasant Grove City as the Sponsor. There are three irrigation companies that will be the primary beneficiaries of the project. Those three companies are American Fork Irrigation Company, Lehi Irrigation Company, and Pleasant Grove Irrigation Company.
