Project Description/Base Bid: Building #82 Roof replacement on the Aline Skaggs Biology Building #82, including, but not limited to: partial removal of the existing 4-ply BUR roofing system (Roofs 1A, 1B and 2 only); new insulation, coverboard and 80 mil. PVC membrane system (all roofs - either mechanically fastened or fully adhered - see plans); new roof access door (Roof 3); various new ladders and safety guardrails; new fascia/edge metal; and modified equipment curbs/platforms.

Additive Alternates: # 1 - Roof 3; remove (e) hatch & ladder, infill per detail

Notes/Additional Information: APPROVED CONSTRUCTION WINDOW: 4/14/25 to 9/8/25 for Substantial Completion. NO construction (2 days) during UU graduation in May 2025. Occupied building. Loud, disruptive noise must be coordinated with UU project PM, and Stakeholders. See project schedule for detail on the construction start for the Bridge, and Lower Roof 5/6/25, and complete 8/14/25. Upper roof to occur with-in the approved construction window. Project Risk: Working over an occupied building, contractor cannot remove any roofing he cannot replace in the same day. The contractor must provide proof of successful roof replacement of a project this size, and complexity for owners.
