Weber School District is inviting bids for the Boiler Replacement at Snowcrest Jr. High School. A MANDATORY PRE-BID WALK THROUGH AND MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 A.M. ON MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2025 AT SNOWCREST JR. HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED AT, 2755 Hwy 162 Eden, Utah. ALL QUESTIONS WILL BE ADDRESSED AT THE MANDATORY JOB WALK.
Start Date for the project can begin May 27, 2025 and MUST be completed by September 15, 2025. Liquidated damages of $200.00 per day will be applied if project is not completed by September 15, 2025.
BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified ched, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the toal bid price payable to Weber School District as a guarantee tha the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of worker's compsensation insurand and furnish satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract price.
Project includes, but is not limited to mechanical work involving the demolition of the existing hot waterpiping, heating for hot water piping, and pumps,
The project also inculdes, but is not limited to electrical work involving the demolition of the existing electrical systems serving the boiler, pumps, mechanical equipment etc. and the installation of new conduit and conductors, variable frequency drives and disconnects for serving the new boilers, and pumps.
Attached are the specifications for this project. All specifications must be met.
The Board of Education, Weber School District, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes or any portion thereof and to waive any abnormalities during the bidding process as the District deems to be in their best interest. Low bid is no way binding upon our district and final selection and honoring of the bids will be made by our office.
