The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to establish a contract to provide an initial, and potentially future, purchase of a 20 foot Reefer (Refrigerator & Freezer) Container SIMILAR IN PERFOMANCE AND DESIGN to a Thermo King Magnum Refrigeration (Dual Temp Cooler-Freezer) with a qualified bidder, and to provide delivery, and optional installation, and service of the container for Eastern State Hospital (ESH), Williamsburg, Virginia an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. IV. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS (SPECIFICATIONS) The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, labor, and tools necessary for all services specified in this solicitation for initial and any subsequent delivery. The types of work that would be accomplished under this contract include, but are not limited to, the following: A. Equipment: The purchase will be for the initial equipment, and safe delivery, to the location designated at Eastern State Hospital. The product’s condition will be inspected to the satisfaction of Eastern State Hospital personnel prior to the vendor’s departure. 20' Reefer Container with Thermo King Magnum Refrigeration (Dual Temp CoolerFreezer) OR SIMILAR Size: 160 Sq. Ft. Model: 8' x 20' Condition: New Power: 220 Volt Connection Temperature: Maintain at or below 38 degrees Fahrenheit with an optional, but preferred, freezing capability.
