RipRap, Class #2, with barge delivery and placement, 44,444 Tons.
In support of the bank stabilization of Rockhouse and Jolly Bottom roads, 44,444 tons of class #2 riprap weighing an estimated 200 lbs be delivered and place by barge. Contractor will spread out the rock/riprap along the riverbank, placed from the top of the bank out to a 3 to 1 slope. Placement will occur along the North side of the Tennessee River in various locations along County Road 129. Expected delivery locations can be seen via the associate map, attached.
Delivery and placement must be via barge as the county will not allow the riprap to be delivered via truck as the weight will damage the roads.
Class 2 Rip Rap:
No more than 10% of the stone will have a diameter greater than sixteen (1 6) inches; no more than 50% of the stone will have a diameter less than twelve (12) inches; and no more than 10% of the stone will have a diameter of less than six (6) inches. The thickness of the rip-rap liner will be no less than sixteen (16) inches.

Vendor will provide a statement that the Class #2 Riprap can be provided and unloaded/placed in full between the dates of 05/01/2023 ¿ 09/01/2023 along with a quote.
