New College Institute is seeking Contractor(s) to provide the following services: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, travel, fees, and supplies necessary to fulfill the requirements specified herein to provide fire and security alarm monitoring services To NCI’s Baldwin Building, King Hall, and Lab Building. Additional locations may be added or deleted at any time during the Contract period. The Contractor shall provide contracted Central Station Alarm Monitoring Services from, a central station that is United Laboratories (“UL”) and The Monitoring Association (“TMA”) listed, bearing a central station fire alarm service certificate or central station burglar alarm service certificate, as applicable for the services contracted for hereunder for the NCI protected premises, and is complaint with and adheres to the National Fire Protection Association Code 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (“NFPA 72”). The performance of the central station alarm monitoring services shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, UL 827, Standard for Central Station Alarm Services, NFPA 72 and the standards of The Monitoring Association, as each may be amended, revised or supplemented from time to time. Testing of the monitored alarm system shall be no less frequent than the foregoing prescribes. The Contractor shall monitor the Agency security and/or fire alarm systems seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year, from a certified commercial Central Monitoring Station. The Contractor shall program all Agency security alarm systems to ensure all signals are transmitted to the remote U.L. certified commercial Central Monitoring Station. This includes, but is not limited to all alarm event signals, all opening/closing signals, all supervisory and trouble signals and restorations. The Contractor shall coordinate closely with the Agency’s facility and security representatives on alarm systems programming. Some Agency security alarms will require immediate dispatch of police, while others will require prior verification before dispatch to confirm or deny the validity of the alarm signal received. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Agency’s facility and security representatives on special instructions regarding development and/or implementation of security alarm verification and dispatch procedures.
