Communications Audit: o Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the district’s current communication strategies, including internal and external communication channels. o Assess the effectiveness of district messaging, audience reach, and engagement levels. o Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. o Provide a detailed report with recommendations to enhance communication practices. B. Communication Planning: o Develop a communications plan through a process involving internal and external stakeholders. C. Content Creation: o Provide written content including, but not limited to, articles, news releases, letters, blog posts, newsletters, and parent messages. o Proof and edit existing materials as needed. D. Graphic Design: o Create marketing collateral such as one-pagers, fact sheets, brochures, mailers, display boards, and other materials. E. Media Relations and Training: o Develop a process for handling media inquiries. o Provide media relations guidance as needed. F. Digital Video Production: o Assist with creating professionally scripted, edited, and produced videos. o Combine in-house footage with professional editing. G. Social Media Content and Management: o Develop social media content and graphics. o Manage content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). H. Surveys and Focus Groups: o Conduct surveys and focus groups to establish baseline data, gather stakeholder input, and improve engagement. I. Website Content Updates: o Provide content updates to the district’s website, with a weekly limit of five hours. J. Crisis Communication: o Offer 24/7/365 crisis communication support to manage urgent situations effectively. K. Branding/Logo Development: o Assist with rebranding initiatives, including logo design and the creation of a style guide. L. Administrator Coaching: o Provide communications coaching and support for the superintendent, principals, and other division leaders. M. Strategic Planning: o Assist with incorporating communication strategies into the division’s strategic planning efforts. N. Translation Services: o Translate content into multiple languages, with up to 5,000 words per month. O.
