Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Communications Services: a. Telling the transportation funding “story” so that public understands why we seek funding for projects 6-8 years ahead of time; b. “Advertising” projects under consideration for funding applications; c. Developing creative, inclusive, and effective public engagement strategies for individual programs and projects as needed (in coordination with staff or consultants); d. Highlighting upcoming activities, programs, events; e. Developing general safety messages for drivers, bus riders, bikers, walkers; f. Developing a communications protocol that can be used consistently to deliver project information and updates.; g. Keeping the public informed about project status for all upcoming and in-progress projects; B. Traditional and Digital Media Placement: a. Maintaining the Division’s (including CUE) social media presence and developing a social media strategy; C. Website Design, Optimization, and Maintenance: a. Improving usability of the Transportation Division’s website and the CUE website (both within the City of Fairfax website), including both accessibility improvements and general user experience improvements; b. Continuous updating and maintaining of web content
