Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Communications Services a. Telling the transportation funding “story” so that public understands why we seek funding for projects 6-8 years ahead of time b. “Advertising” projects under consideration for funding applications c. Developing creative, inclusive, and effective public engagement strategies for individual programs and projects as needed (in coordination with staff or consultants) d. Highlighting upcoming activities, programs, events e. Developing general safety messages for drivers, bus riders, bikers, walkers f. Developing a communications protocol that can be used consistently to deliver project information and updates. g. Keeping the public informed about project status for all upcoming and in-progress projects B. Traditional and Digital Media Placement a. Maintaining the Division’s (including CUE) social media presence and developing a social media strategy C. Website Design, Optimization, and Maintenance a. Improving usability of the Transportation Division’s website and the CUE website (both within the City of Fairfax website), including both accessibility improvements and general user experience improvements b. Continuous updating and maintaining of web content
