Specifications include, but are not limited to: Under the guidance of staff from the Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Virginia State Parks, contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, seed, chemicals, and fertilizer except as noted herein, to harvest hay on approximately 182.44 Non-dedicated Areas (Lot 1) and approximately 42.9 dedicated acres (Lot 2) in Scottsburg, Virginia. A. Lot Definitions and exclusive specifications: a. Lot 1: Mandatory Bid Fields – Titled Non-dedicated Areas b. Lot 1: Fields 8-24 on the map - 182.44 total acres c. Lot 1: Requirements not applicable to Lot 2: 1. The Contractor Shall provide and apply fertilizer and or lime annually as directed by the site manager or designee. 2. The Contractor shall work with Park Staff to determine the needed amounts and application of fertilizer and lime annually, prior to application, using the current Nutrient Management Plan Recommendations and the most recent soil test as a guideline. 3.
