Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and resources to provide the facilities, lodging, food/beverage, and equipment needed for the September 2024 DRE Training Conference. B. Conference Date Requirements: The conference event dates are September 8 – 20, 2024. C. Location: Event will be held within 30 miles radius of Richmond, Virginia D. Accommodations: VSP anticipates that the conference will need a maximum of 30 rooms per night. Check in date will be September 8, 2024. All rooms must be provided at the published state rate, plus taxes and surcharges, or lower. The VSP will provide a detailed rooming list to the hotel and amend it as officers/deputies apply for this training. 1. Attendees will be housed single occupancy. They will check in on Sunday night (September 8, 2024) and check out Friday morning (September 20, 2024). If a student requests additional nights lodging, they will be responsible for paying those additional nights. 4. The contractor shall only charge for occupied rooms. 5. The Virginia State Police requires a direct bill for payment for all lodging. The Virginia State Police will provide payment for room and tax only. Each respective officer/deputy will be responsible for any and all incidentals incurred. 6. The Contractor shall provide free wireless access.
