1. Perform such jobs as restoring electrical service, adding and installing new circuits, switches, panels, breakers and conduits, repairing and replacing existing electrical circuits, switches, breakers, conduits, panels and sub-panels, adding dedicated lines and grounds, replacing motors, repairing and replacing site and building lighting, other electrical services as required and respond to emergency electrical problems as required. The electrical maintenance services may include excavation, demolition or alteration work, and electrical design (design that does not require a Professional Engineer’s stamp). 2. Maintain an adequate workforce capable of performing multiple assignments simultaneously and at different locations. 3. Tools: The contractor shall have and maintain suitable modern equipment and tools necessary for the satisfactory execution of work as specified herein. 4. Ensure all personnel sign in at arrival and sign out prior to departure on the DBVI daily log sheet. 5. Contact Miss Utility and have utilities marked and provide the DBVI Representative a Miss Utilities’ ticket number or a copy of the ticket to reference documentation that utilities on state property have been marked prior to any excavation work. 6. Be a Virginia Licensed Class A or B Contractor with ELE classification. 7. Must comply with NEC standards and Virginia Building Code standards.
