Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Market shall be located in Buckroe Beach Park. 2. Manager shall provide a site plan of the proposed Market layout. 3. Manager shall present evidence of capability of organizing and managing the Buckroe Beach Farmers Market. 4. Market shall operate May through October on Saturday mornings rain-or-shine, severe weather excepted. Some blackout dates may apply due to scheduled permitted activities and park rentals. 5. Market shall include a minimum of twenty-five (25) vendors. 6. Manager shall abide by all Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations, and obtain, complete and maintain all permits and supporting documentation, including, but not limited to, a City of Hampton City- Scale Special Event Permit per Chapter 2, Article XIII of the Hampton City Code. 7. Manager to track Market attendance and provide monthly reports. 8. Manager shall keep, update and maintain weekly records of vendors to be submitted to the City of Hampton Commissioner of the Revenue. Additionally, Market Manager shall ensure vendors have appropriate licenses, permits, and insurance prior to scheduling for participation in the Market. 9. Manager shall ensure that participating vendors shall park vendor vehicles in designated parking areas as assigned by City. 10. Manager shall ensure trip guards are used with all cables, cords, wires and conduits placed upon or running over ground. 11. Manager shall ensure all janitorial duties, including collection/disposal of trash during and after each Market event. 12. Manager shall, in conjunction with the City, create and implement a marketing and promotional program to advertise the Market. 13. Market Manager shall not discriminate against or deny entrance to any person at any event on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, marital status, age, ancestry, or disability. 14. Manager shall be responsible for obtaining and paying for additional security, as needed.
