1.1 The purpose of this quick quote is for Hanover County to rent one (1) fire engine, model year 2000 or newer, that is in good working condition for a minimum of 106 days beginning October 1, 2024, or date approved by County. The engine is needed immediately. 1.2 The fire engine shall meet all requirements to be certified as a Class A Pumper per NFPA 1901, once equipped with County Fire-EMS tools and equipment. 1.3 The fire engine shall include the following: A. Minimum of a 750-gallon booster tank B. Minimum of a 1250 GPM pump C. National Standard Thread (NST) on all connections or have capability to accept Hanover Fire-EMS adapters that are NST capable. Large diameter discharge and intake hose connections can be 4” or 5” Storz connections. D. Valid Virginia State inspection sticker displayed during length of contract.
