Under the guidance of staff from the Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Virginia State Parks Division, contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment and supplies to perform the following floor leveling and epoxy finishing at each Lake Anna State Park campground comfort station (see II. A. Site Definitions below): • Remove floor mounted fixtures, appliances and trim in all restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. o Any adhesive or caulk from trim shall be removed and resulting paint defects fixed with paint color provided by designated Virginia State Parks staff. • Strip current floor coatings from concrete floor. • Ensure floor is level, and free of cracks and pits. • Prepare and refinish concrete floor with PaliFlake 100 epoxy floor kit in color Stone Wash, or Agency-Approved Equivalent. o Preparation of concrete floor and application of epoxy shall follow manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure product warranty. o Epoxy finish shall seamlessly extend minimum 5 inches up each wall in lieu of trim. See Attachment G: “Seamless Wall Application Reference Image”. • Reinstall all fixtures and appliances that were removed. o Any fixtures or appliances damaged in the removal shall be replaced with like kind replacements.
