Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, equipment maintenance and repair, fuel, traffic control and other incidentals needed to apply pesticides labeled for use on requested right of way within the Salem District, on an as needed basis. Pesticides shall be applied in accordance with label recommendations and all applicable laws and regulations. All pesticide application operations shall be performed in a manner consistent with industry standards and practices. This contract includes all primaries, secondaries and Interstate 81, Interstate 581, 220 Expressway, and 460 Bypass in Montgomery County. This contract will include two types of work: 1. Specific Spraying Operations – paid by the acre, which will include high volume Brush Control. 2. As assigned spraying operations – paid on an hourly basis, which will include the use of two 3-member Backpack Spray Crews.
