Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall supply all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, maintenance and repair, fuel, disposal costs, traffic control (in accordance with the most recent version of the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual) and any other incidentals needed to perform roadside hydroseeding services per the specifications outlined in this IFB. Hydroseeding services will consist of hydraulically applying grass seed, fertilizer, agricultural lime, wood cellulose, and when requested, soil stabilization blanket/erosion control matting and/or straw/mulch to the VDOT right of way at designated locations along various interstate, primary, and secondary routes. All seeding shall be accomplished by hydroseeding. The services will be ordered on an as needed basis for roads properties, and projects within the NOVA district. The NOVA district includes the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William. Specific locations will be selected by VDOT and there may be multiple roadside locations on a single work order.
