Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor(s) shall provide motor coach services for groups ranging from 30-35 passengers (low) to 40-48 passengers (high) for various trips planned during the initial contract term and any ensuing renewal term(s). B. Contractor(s) shall furnish round-trip motor coach services from Newport News, Virginia to each travel destination as provided by the City's Tour Manager. Departure may occur from a number of locations within the City to include: 1. Hilton Senior Center - 605 Hilton Blvd, Newport News, VA 23605 2. Brittingham-Midtown Community Center - 570 McLawhorne Dr, Newport News, VA 23601 3. Denbigh Community Center- 15198 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23608 The City desires to add additional departure points within the city if necessary on any day, to include weekends and holidays, at no additional charge. C. Travel may include rest and meal stops. Contractor(s) shall coordinate timing and location of any scheduled rest/meal stops with the City's Tour Manager. Coach trips greater than five (5) hours should have rest stops built into the itinerary and include at least one meal stop, otherwise, there should be adequate rest stops roughly every two (2) hours. D. Contractor(s) shall include the cost of deluxe motor coach transportation that should be available to the group the entire time of the trip in compliance with industry, state and federal regulated policies. A standard $50.00 per day gratuity for motor coach drivers should be included in the quoted trip prices. E. Contractor shall have quality controls, processes and procedures in place to ensure quality during the planning and execution phases for each trip planned. The quality control procedures shall ensure that participants receive the level of quality that is consistent with the specified requirements and shall ensure a commitment to quality and attention to detail throughout all activities related to each trip planned. Processes and procedures shall be designed and implemented to result in quality and timely performance to prevent, detect, and correct any deficiencies in performance.
