The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for on -site shred truck services. This will be a 100% women owned small business set-aside (WOSB) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the procurement of on-site shred truck services.
The requirement will be solicited on 4 November 2024. The service that will be procured consists of the following: The Contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative support, technical services, labor, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform standard commercial shred truck service for shredding up to 600 banker boxes of documents at the location listed above. The documents do not contain any 3-ring binder, garbage of any kind, newspaper, credit card, CD, cardboard, magazines, telephone book or hardcover book. The documents may contain manila folders, staples, paper clips, rubber bands, binder clips, spiral notebooks, hanging file folders, and paper fasteners in addition to office paper. The contractor is required to be NAID AAA certified and all documents shredded must be completely unrecoverable. Place of performance is NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, 9550 Decatur Ave, Doorway 22, Norfolk, Virginia 23511-3392. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
